Welcome to my poetry blog.

My name is Lanea and iv been writing poetry since I was 14 years old.
I'm a mother of two in the UK.


My poems have always been about the struggles in life, Love and Family.

I use poetry to express myself as self therapy. When I get my thoughts down on paper is like letting some of the pain and disappointment fade a little.
When I writing my thoughts it helps me better understand how I have felt about certain situations in my life.
Now I wish to share with those who may relate to how I have felt from time to time.

IN NATURE

In nature you can find God.
Everything is how it should be,
 created to perfection.
There's no flaws in nature.
Just instinct and nurture.
Unlike mankind,
Who kill for fun,
Who causes harm to another
And themselves.
Who pollute the water
 And causes chaos on the earth.
Only caring when it benefits them.
Hoping they will win a medal
Or a prize one day.
A little praise goes a long way.
Keeping us straight for that day.
But in nature it's not this way.
Nature isn't completing with one another.
Nature is calm and peaceful.
The way life should be.
Nature don't hold stress or resentment.
It's just present and beautiful.
